Hey digi folks! We know sometimes a little boost is necessary to get a storybook completed, and we've got a sweet boost for you this weekend. Starting today through Sunday evening at midnight (central time), when you complete and order any StoryBook Photo Book (US|Canada) - yes ANY size Leather Premium, Hardcover or Softcover StoryBook - you'll receive a free digital kit. NOTE: to qualify for the free kit, you must place an order for a book on the Digital Center. Purchasing a product credit will not qualify you.
Here's a preview of the super sweet & fun Life is Good kit:
Wondering how to get in on the fun? Visit the Creative Memories Go Digital Facebook Fan Page and join the Virtual Crop. We'll be hanging out there all weekend to help inspire & encourage you to complete your books. And the funnest part is... we've set a goal of 2,000 albums completed & ordered during the crop. We'll be posting statistics on how many albums have been ordered throughout the weekend, so stay tuned and join in the fun!
NOTE: you will not receive your free kit immediately upon ordering your books. We will send an email early next week with a link to the kit. Happy scrapping, and see you at the crop! :)
Is there any hope that this will be offered for sale for those of us that missed this? Thanks!

Hi Jenny ~ I know this is a late note to you, but how do Creative Memories users/consultants ever get these wonderful free kits you have in USA/Canada. I have seen some beautiful pages using this kit "Life is Good". Have enquired with head office here in Australia, to be told "don't know anything about it". Can you shed any light onto how we may be able to obtain these wonderful kits too.
Blessings Carolyn

I ordered two storybooks during the weekend. I didn't get an email with the free kit. How do I get it?

Gee Randy, you took most of the reasons. LOL I write fiction because it is the most simple and at the same time most complex creative act I can undertake.
What can be simpler than taking up a pen and squiggling it against paper to get words?
What can be more complex than creating entire worlds,
populating them with people who are more real than real, and giving their lives meaning and justice?
It really is all about writing colossal “lies” that tell the simplest, most fundamental “truth.
” It’s just incredibly cool to have this power that ultimately
humbles me when I wield it. I wish more people realized that they have
the same power. Learning a story and fighting
myself to write it down truthfully is the best way I have found to learn how
to be a real human being. Plus I write the stories down
in order to make more room in my head for more stories.
I have quite a backlog so I better get back to my writing.
LOL

Jenny - this was a great challenge and got me busy creating and ordering a book for my daughter's 4th grade class Valentine party. It was fun.
I received the link for the digital kit tonight and downloaded it - I love, love, LOVED it! Thanks so much for a great challenge and a really cool reward!

Hi! To address some of your questions:
We'll mail you a link for the free kit Monday or Tuesday. Yes, you sure can use a coupon code or product credit to pay for your book - it just has to be ordered during the weekend.
Our goal is to end up with completed albums, so we can certainly consider having a virtual crop where if you order at least 20 pages (in the future) it could qualify you for a free kit. We like to keep the focus of these crops at a minimum so it's easy for us to help guide digi croppers into a finished project.
As far as the lead time... many times we don't come up with these ideas until a few days ahead of time, and that's what drives the sense of urgency to get the books completed, and it works very well. We'll definitely consider creating them further ahead of time, but likely they'll still remain relatively impromptu.
Thank you for your feedback - we'll take all of it into consideration.

Would have loved to have been able to do this, too little warning....darn it!

I love this incentive, but wish there had been more notice. I'm booked all weekend, and can't digi scrap until Sunday evening, and won't have enough time to get a book completed. Like many others have mentioned, I do have lots of pages waiting to be printed, but those won't get me the free digital kit. :0(

I agree with many of the others, I am a page print person because I love the look of a traditional coverset album. Feel bad to be left out.

I agree with Janna...I'm a page print person not a storybook, but I would still like to have the "Life Is Good" freebie kit. Wish CM would offer it several ways to accommodate those of us who don’t do storybooks but are still faithful customers!!

Here is my issue, I digi scrap and print 12 x 12 pages because I like the binding of my scrapbooks to all look alike.(my issue, I know.) I am wondering if this deal works if I order at least 20 page prints or at least 10 of those new double-sided page prints (equal to a 20 pg book). I often feel like we page-printers miss out on some great deals even though we are finishing just as many pages as the book printers.

I just ordered a photobook about 2 hours ago - does it count in this special??
