Today I wanted to talk about getting a good photo, but then realized I don’t know much about getting the perfect photo…and really who can compete with Nick Kelsh? And because I’m not a professional photographer; I take A LOT of photos! I always have my camera with me or it's on the counter at home because if you take enough photos you’re bound to get a good one…Right?
Well, maybe not. That's why I rely on Memory Manager software to help me take an everyday photo and make it perfect. Perfect for my holiday card, StoryBook, photo panel or whatever I’m working on. I can easily change a photo to black and white or sepia tone, adjust the light, crop, or even clone out an ‘extra’ person.
Check out these quick edits that can make all the difference!
Adjusting color
- Open your image in Memory Manager by double-clicking on the image.
- On the Image tab, click Auto Color, to let the software fix the color. You could also select Black & white or Sepia tone if you’d like. Click Accept to accept the changes.
- Save your image.
- Open your image in Memory Manager by double-clicking on the image.
- On the Image tab, click Crop, adjust the crop as needed. Click Accept to accept the changes.
- Save your image.
- Open your image in Memory Manager by double-clicking on the image.
- Click Quick fix and click on the red-eye in your image. Repeat for each red-eye.
- Save your image.
Now you can use your perfect photo to create your next project! The next project on my list is my family Christmas card. Check out these great templates on the Creative Memories Digital Center, you can do it all online!

as much as I love iPhoto, it's not MM. I do miss the color correction option.

I LOVE Memory Manager. My friends laugh because I MUST put my photos through MM before they go on Facebook. Why have red eye, less-than-perfect white teeth, and blemishes when you can fix them all with MM? Many a photo has gone from bad to fab simply with Memory Manager tools.
