One of my favorite techinques when creating design elements on my scrapbook pages is using Makers to create negative space. It's simple and easy and you don't waste an precious product at the same time.
As you can see above, I used both Scallop Circle Maker and Blossom Place 'n' Punch to create the large flower element throughout the page.
There are so many different ways to use negative space, back it with a simple photo, create a tone-on-tone affect, stamp an image or phrase, embellish it with epoxy stickers and back it with your favorite pattern paper. The possibilities are endless.
Cindy, Thank you for sharing this great idea. I always keep my "scraps" when I punch, cut, trim, etc. I place them in a special box and then forget them. Ideas like this always renew my thinking when scrapping. Thanks again, keep sharing and keep scrapping!
