Hi everyone! Ginger here to share a few ideas on how you can put your love of paper crafting to good use when it comes to weddings! There have been quite a few weddings in my family in the past few years and there are almost always lots of ways that the bride and groom have brought a personal touch to their wedding with some great DIY (do it yourself) ideas.
Here are a couple of my favorite ideas that would be easy to add to any wedding with a few paper crafting supplies.
I used the Enchanted Collection and the Divine Wedding Cricut Cartridge to design a place card, a favor bag, a save-the-date card, and a gift bag.
The Enchanted Collection made it super easy to have some really great and elegant designs perfect for a wedding and the Divine Wedding Cartridge is just bursting with so many great little touches for any wedding.
Here is a closer look at the items.
This save-the-date card would be such a fun way to announce the upcoming event. A photo of the couple with some basic information inside the card would be such a happy thing to find in your mailbox! Using the Cricut to cut the titles makes it easy and economical to make lots of these cards.
The fonts on the Divine Wedding Cartridge also make it easy to make custom items personalized with the guests name like this place card.
Favors are also easy to dress up with just a few supplies. Here I just pinched opposite ends of a paper tube together to make a little bag perfect for small favors for the guests. The Stamper and a scalloped cut from the Divine Wedding Cartridge add just a little bit more of the personalized look.
The gift bag would be great way to package a gift for the happy couple or a gift from the couple to the attendants. It's a little hard to see in the photo, but using the embossed papers from the Enchanted Collection to cut the title on this bag really added a lot to the finished look.
These are only a handful of the possibilities that you could do, but hopefully they can be a springboard for thinking up other DIY personal touches for a beautiful wedding!
