I have to admit that I kind of stink at scrapbooking Christmas. I can't explain it, but for some reason Christmas is the one thing that I drag my feet to scrap each and every year. Well as I was looking through the new Enchanted Power Palette the other day, all of the reds and greens in it really jumped out at me! Have you noticed this??
This line is full of beautiful red and green papers and embellishments! And all of a sudden I got inspired to scrap something Christmas-y, so I got busy!!
I think one thing that makes it hard for me to scrap Christmas is that there are always soooo many pictures. Lots of pictures to scrap is a lot of work! So I started simply...I picked out a single picture and scrapped it. Rather than scrapping every single picture from Christmas 2010, I picked a favorite and let the journaling do the rest.
Here are a few close ups pictures of this layout. I adhered the "memories" title sticker with foam squares.
I used some of the fun new bling to embellish the title!
I cut a corner off a piece of patterned paper to make a big photo corner to embellish the picture.
I punched some circles out of red patterned paper (the same paper I used for the photo corner) and then cut them in half to create a scalloped border near the bottom of the layout.
So Christmas in March??! YES I think so! I am checking that layout off the list. Hmmmm, I wonder how some Enchanted Christmas cards would turn out??!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
