The Beautiful Day Recordable Paper Album Kit is the first voice recording device offered by Creative Memories. This innovative new product has been in the works for quite some time and we are excited it is here in time for Mother's Day.
This little paper album kit is a gift all in itself. There are so many opportunities other than Mother's Day for this product. Need the perfect way to say "thanks" for the girlfriends getaway? Tuck it into a child's lunch bag or backpack to wish them well on the big test or game. Keep in touch with people who are far away - on a mission trip or deployed overseas.
There is a great video on our YouTube channel website that shows this product in use. It is very inspirational and there are instructions on how to record too.
Although this Recordable Paper Album Kit is limited edition for March and April (so get one before they're gone!), I am excited to share there will be a few more coming out in 2010.
In order to get the best recording for your paper album kit we wanted to share some tips with you:
- First do not remove the "remove tab to use" label until you are ready to record. Once this label is removed the battery is engaged and the battery life has started.
- Try to practice what you are going to record - unless dealing with a child because sometimes the first time will be the best. Don't worry though, if you need to re-record you can do that as many times as you need to.
- Try to avoid background noises whenever possible. Quiet places are ideal.
- Once you are happy with your recording the last step should be to remove the "press to record" sticker. This will make the recording permanent so nothing can be recorded over it.
Have fun with this new little beauty. I can't wait to hear all the great stories that come from givers and receivers of this great product. What's yours?
Tori - unfortunately there is not a way to turn off the sound, but this is something we can definately consider for the future.
I have headphones at my desk to drowned out office noise, so I don't hear a lot of things. :)

I love the recordable album! And I love the video that is on the CM Home Page about it. But having seen it more than once now, I really wish there was a way to turn if off from the website without having to turn all the sound on my computer off. Am I missing something? It's become annoying! Thanks for any help you can give on this front.
